WHY IS A LUNCH AND LEARN IDEAL FOR BUSINESSES WITH TIME CONSTRAINTS?
If you are looking for micro training for your staff on various pain points that are present within your business, then this format is what you need. Lunch and learns are formatted to provide concentrated training in a short period of time, typically two to three hours in length. The training also comes with a meal. Although the reference to "lunch" may imply that the training occurs during mid-day, it can be scheduled in the morning or late afternoon as well, substituting breakfast or a light dinner instead. It really depends on what works for your team and their schedule.

HOW IS A LUNCH AND LEARN FORMATTED?
These workshops are formatted to utilize as many different senses as possible. Studies show that when we use multiple sensory applications we deepen the retention rate for more long term results. By listening to the lecture in reasonable chunks, asking critical thinking questions, writing down main points, answering thought provoking questions, and then engaging in group discussion, we use multiple learning tools to support that goal.
Participants will:
- learn through microbursts of material, which allows them to absorb incremental content more effectively.
- be encouraged to ask questions to ensure that the material is clearly understood
- be provided with a workbook that outlines the material being taught for visual reference and to engage critical thinking
- participate in group discussion and share relative experiences
- help other team members to understand the material more effectively, as by teaching others you deepen your own understanding of the concepts

HOW TO GET BEST RESULTS TO SEE LASTING TRANSFORMATION?
There are two components that ensure lasting results:
ONE:
The workshops are designed to utilize as many senses as possible while in the training to integrate the material for longer retention.
TWO:
Your team MUST take full responsibility for their own results. This means that they must listen and ask questions when they need more clarity. They must do the exercises in the workbooks provided and share their insights with their team members. They must practice the tools and methods they are taught immediately and frequently. They must teach what they have learned to others to deepen their learning.

Why is this course considered a prerequisite for all other workshops I host?
If you are trying to keep a structure upright, you have to make sure that it's foundation is solid. Conversely, if you want everyone to be on the same page about your values, your goals, and your culture, they are going to need to know how to use these tools.
All transformation starts with the self. Most people have been taught to project blame outwardly and they do not know how to self-reflect. As a result of this, they are not equipped with the tools to recognized that ALL problems are a result of more than one variable. When we want to believe that we have not contributed at all to a problem, we are very often misinformed. Upon further investigation, turns out on some level, we too have contribute to problem and therefore can contribute to the solution.

My expanded version of that quote would be there is YOUR "truth" filtered through your beliefs, perceptions and conditioning, MY "truth" filtered through my beliefs, perceptions, and conditioning, and then their are the FACTS. That sweet spot somewhere in the middle.
When your staff are able to use these consciousness practices they are then functioning from a very different level of perception that encompasses a more panoramic view. Problems become less about "who's to blame" and more about, "how have I contributed to this issue and what can I do to help resolve it". The finger pointing fades away and everyone works more cohesively towards a common goal.
However, they are practices which means that they must be practiced. A lot. Repeatedly. In order become habits. These kinds of things take time and although we all might like to flick a switch and be in a different reality, the fact is it is going to take commitment, time, repetition, and so on.
The thing that needs to be realized that nothing changes if you do nothing to change things. There must be effort involved and deliberate intention.
